I do not profess to be an expert or anything else because I am not. But I believe that inflation is just around the corner. Can you imagine how the US government has dole out since to bail the big banks and other conglomerates in the name of saving the economy and the country from catastrophic economic and financial depression? There is too much of the printed money circulating around and will soon lose its purchasing power.
History will tell you that there is too this kind of spending has its consequence and it will not be a good one. Just today there is news about an impending inflation. Some of these luminaries are no other than the most successful investor, Warren Buffett, Marc Faber and Jim Rogers.
To quote and unquote:
Yet he told CNBC that the economy "can't turn around on a dime" and that those efforts could trigger higher inflation once demand rebounds.
"We are certainly doing things that could lead to a lot of inflation," Buffett says. "In economics there is no free lunch."
Investment guru Faber also sees the government creating inflation.
"The massive money printing we have and the massive deficits we have now will make it difficult when there are some price pressures for the Federal Reserve to actually increase interest rates," Faber warns.
Rogers says it's not just the U.S. government that's implementing inflationary policy.
These were their words which I quote from MONEYNEWS.com at http://moneynews.newsmax.com/streettalk/buffett_rogers_inflation/2009/03/13/191719.html
This just proves that not only people like me who are unknown people who have an idea or two about what is going with the economy and the US policies that make not have positive impact in the long run. We can only hope for the best, don't we?
So what do you think people? Are you one of those who are little bit naïve that everything is going to fine? Wake up guys and start thinking of what you can do for yourself and family to minimize the impact when hits you.
